The main tasks for the village community board is to lead and coordinate any work that regads the village common facilities, such as the village road, road lightning, water supply, community house and our bathing place and harbour. Board meetings are held on a regular basis and the annual meeting for the entire village are held in march or april.

The village community board is also guards the village interests towards the municipality and other authorities. The board also initiates new projects, such as the internet access expansion within the village. The village common financing is also looked after by the board through public contributions and by the fees for the use of the village common facilities. The board also participates in various meetings arranged by the municipality or other associations.
